Quirky and great fun for all, this tournament has lots of different snow and ice challenges that are rather unusual! The whole thing always goes off with a bang and the motto can be heard for several weeks: ‘Relax, everything is going to be just fine!’
Ice Climbing World Cup – 3 and 4 February 2012
The 22m permanent ice tower in Champagny en Vanoise will play host to the 2012 Ice Climbing World Cup. As the only one of its kind in the World it will for the first time become part of history as the only permanent ice tower in the international events record.
